We already discussed how data visualization can play a vital role in education and here we have examples to demonstrate how different stakeholders can visualize educational data differently.
Institutional level

This dashboard is taken from the University of Rochester on student diversity at different faculties in the institution.

Information like this helps institutions make critical decisions, such as student enrolment numbers, gender equality, and potentially the allocation of recruitment and funding effort.

This is a live demonstration so feel free to interact with the data!
Governmental Level

The example we have here is from Statistic Canada on how tuition fee is different based on the provinces, field of study, and student status (international or domestic).
You can play around with the data and it is surprising how clear the data can be when it is visualized.
Teaching and Learning Level
Many LMS systems have incorporated learning analytics in their systems and for some institutions, they go even further to utilize the data they already have. One example is University of Michigan and its ECoach software and a typical user dashboard would look like what we have here.
All user information, ranging from student’s current academic performance to important course announcement, is available in one dashboard.
