Using Data Visualization to Support Education
Hi and welcome to our OER on Data Visualization. Do you use data in your daily life? If so have you ever given thought to how you interact and share it? In this OER, we focus on the use of data visualization and its potential in the education field. For some, data visualization is merely something aesthetic and the data presented is only secondary, while for others, data visualization is a great way to communicate to their audience. Which one are you?

Now with the ever-growing use of big data and educational data mining (EDM), data visualization is going to be used more often to translate data in meaningful ways. It is our goal to share a better understanding of how data visualization can be utilized to support education and how it can be used, in the future, to enhance user experience.
